kozou.org is the public documentation and marketing site for the Kozou open-source project (github.com/kozou-dev/kozou). This page describes what data kozou.org collects, how it is handled, and how to reach the maintainers about it.
What we collect
Section titled “What we collect”kozou.org is a static documentation site with no application backend, no user accounts, and no comment or contact forms. Visiting the site triggers the following data flows only:
- Server-side HTTP request logs are kept by the hosting platform (Cloudflare Workers) according to its standard practices. These logs include IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. The Kozou maintainers do not access these logs directly.
- CDN-level abuse and bot protection by Cloudflare may set a short-lived
security cookie (e.g.
__cf_bm) to challenge suspected automated traffic. Cloudflare documents this in its Privacy Policy. - Aggregated page-view analytics via Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless counter run by the same hosting provider that records page URL, referrer, and a zone-level visit aggregate without setting any cookie or storing per-visitor identifiers. It has no access to identifying information beyond what Cloudflare’s request log already captures.
The site itself does not set any first-party cookies, does not use local storage for tracking, and does not embed third-party tracking analytics, advertising networks, or social trackers.
What we do not collect
Section titled “What we do not collect”- No first-party cookies for tracking, personalization, or per-visitor analytics. (Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless; see “What we collect” above.)
- No cross-site tracking analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.).
- No advertising or social-media tracking pixels.
- No form-collected personal data — the site has no contact or comment forms.
If we later introduce additional data collection (e.g. per-visitor analytics, form-collected data, third-party trackers), this page will be updated in the same change so the disclosure stays in lockstep.
Outbound links
Section titled “Outbound links”kozou.org links to several third-party services, including:
- GitHub (repositories, issues, releases).
- npm (published packages).
- Cloudflare (hosting and aggregated analytics infrastructure).
Once you follow an outbound link, the destination’s own privacy policy applies. kozou.org does not transmit your identity to those services.
Contact
Section titled “Contact”For privacy questions, open an issue on the Kozou repository. For anything sensitive — including a data-related concern you would rather not post publicly — use the repository’s private vulnerability reporting.
Hosting and jurisdiction
Section titled “Hosting and jurisdiction”The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. The Kozou maintainers are based in Japan, and processing falls under the Japanese Act on the Protection of Personal Information. Where applicable, requests under GDPR or other regional regulations can be raised through the contact paths above.
Changes
Section titled “Changes”Material changes to this policy will be reflected by updating the effective date in the status block at the top of this page.
